Changing Treasury Markets
The US Securities and Exchange Commission has finalized rules that will require the clearing of certain US Treasury securities, requiring significant changes to market structure. This is in addition to other regulatory and market initiatives intended to enhance the resilience, transparency and competitiveness of the US Treasury market, from dealer registration to trading.
As the market works to implement these new rules, the ISDA/SIFMA Treasury Forum New York will bring delegates intelligence and analysis on what the changes will mean, the steps that need to be taken to comply with new requirements, and the benefits and costs. Held in-person, the event will feature senior market participants and regulators, as well as provide valuable networking opportunities.
