About this Symposium
Start your 2023 ISDA AGM journey off right by attending ISDA's Accounting symposium.
This event will give derivatives market participants an update on issues that will be impacted as a result of accounting and regulatory changes. Particular consideration will be given to current topics such as digital assets including cryptocurrencies, environmental, social and governance (ESG) related transactions and their impact on derivatives. Other key topics to be discussed are U.S. generally accepted accounting principles (U.S. GAAP) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) including hedge accounting updates, and a market update on the transition to alternative risk-free rates (RFRs).
This symposium takes place on Tuesday, May 9th the week of the ISDA AGM. Following this symposium you'll be able to enjoy early AGM registration and the arrival hospitality lounge before heading to the ISDA AGM Welcome Reception.
**YOU MUST REGISTER SEPARATELY FOR THE ISDA AGM**
Registration for this symposium and the ISDA AGM are separate. You must register for each event individually.
